Eco Educational Design is an environmental restoration company dedicated to revitalizing ecosystems through native plant propagation and sustainable landscaping. With over 30 years of combined experience, EED specializes in innovative restoration techniques that support biodiversity and long-term ecological health.
Eco Educational Design restores natural environments by integrating native trees and plants into local ecosystems. We create greener, healthier landscapes that enhance biodiversity and sustainability throughout the DMV (District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia) region. With our affiliated nonprofit Trees for the Planet, we collect local ecotype native seeds and grow saplings in repurposed tree shelters.
We believe that lasting environmental restoration begins with education and community involvement. Through workshops, partnerships, and hands-on activities, we empower individuals to take active roles in restoring ecosystems.
Workshops & Educational Resources: Offering sessions on native plants, sustainable landscaping, and biodiversity.
Collaborations with Schools & Local Groups: Teaching multigenerational tree planting and ecological restoration efforts.
Community Involvement: Participating in restoration processes, strengthening connections between people and nature.
